In 1943 Hava was sent to Ungvár in order to set up the “Hashomer Hatzair” ken there. In 1944 she smuggled Jews into Romania (tiyul) in the agyvárad area. Hava was caught together with Eli Sajó, a member of “Maccabi Hatzair” and sent to Auschwitz and other extermination camps.
After the liberation Hava stayed first in Sweden, then in Cyprus and made aliya in 1947. She lives in Kibbutz Ga’aton.
